Before shipping the bag we wash it entirely at a very high temperature, we use a Tuscan leather washing technique to make the leather even softer, beautiful and more resistant over time. This allows the natural characteristics of the leather to show through, which gives it a unique look. It has no protective coating, making it more sensitive and susceptible to staining from body oils, color fading, and surface scratches, so it should be used sparingly. The leather bag should be cleaned regularly with a dry cloth to prevent dirt and dust from building up. Natural leather is the most luxurious and expensive leather option. Leather hide that has undergone a limited finishing process is more valuable because it showcases all of the imperfections and blemishes of the leather, giving it character.
Natural genuine leather lasts over time, it does not peel or melt with the change of seasons, over time the leather becomes even softer and more shiny.

Our bags are handcrafted by our Florentine artisans, each bag comes out unique, the handmade leather bags do not come out perfect one identical to the other, there will be imperfections of manual processing.
